Max Thayer (born 18 June 1946; age 77) is an actor who appeared as one of the Human civilians during the launch of Enterprise NX-01 in the Star Trek: Enterprise pilot episode "Broken Bow". He received no credit for this part but is listed on the call sheet for the episode. He filmed his scenes on 5 June 2001 on Paramount Stage 18.
Thayer was born as Michael Thayer in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from the Redford High School in 1964 and from the UCLA in 1970. Between 1966 and 1969 he served in the US Army and moved to Los Angeles after his service. In the '70s he started to work in film and television, first under his birth name Michael Thayer and later as Max Thayer.
