Notice
Mavala IV was the inhabited fourth planet in the Mavala system.
Dr. Noonian Soong and Juliana O'Donnell went there in 2328 to get secretly married. Their wedding was witnessed by Corvallen and Klingon traders. Their wedding certificate was kept at the Registrar's Office.
After 2328, in the chaos that ensued after the planetary government was overthrown, many documents, including the Soong wedding certificate, were destroyed.
In 2370, in an effort to confirm Doctor Juliana O'Donnell's story, Data was checking the passenger manifests of the period to see if she traveled to Marvala IV. This planet was mentioned in the commercial transport database archive of the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Inheritance")
