The Mauk-to'Vor is a Klingon ritual that allows a Klingon to kill a wrongfully disgraced sibling to restore their honor in the afterlife and ensure their entry into Sto-vo-kor. The ritual requires adanji incense and is carried out when one sibling plunges a mevak dagger into the other's chest.

Kurn requested that Worf perform the Mauk-to'Vor in 2372, though the ritual was interrupted by Odo and Jadzia Dax and Kurn was revived by Julian Bashir. Though initially angered by the interruption, Worf later came to agree with Benjamin Sisko that the ritual was no different than committing murder. (DS9: "Sons of Mogh")
