Founded in 2003, Master Replicas was best known for its production of high quality limited edition 1:1 diecast replicas of Star Wars lightsabers and spaceship props. The company also released a number of items from Disney, Spiderman and The Muppets franchises.
Star Trek association
In 2003 the company was licensed to release highly detailed Star Trek prop replicas which all came with a custom display case and a certificate of authenticity.
Shortly after losing its Star Wars licensing in 2006, the company merged with Corgi.
No new Master Replicas Star Trek releases were forthcoming as the combined companies abruptly lost their licensing to produce Star Trek products as well. These licenses were awarded to eFX Collectibles and QMx.
