Lieutenant Junior Grade Marquez was a Starfleet science officer serving in the Stellar Sciences department aboard the USS Enterprise-D in 2369. He participated in the mission to rescue the Bersallis III colonists from the firestorms native to the planet, and was tasked with the job of tracking the storms and updating other Enterprise teams on its path.
