Marisa Muñoz appeared as a Qomar in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Virtuoso". As a background actress, she received no credit for her appearance. Her costume was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]

Muñoz is married to fellow Star Trek performer Michael Muñoz since 1983. The couple has two children. Muñoz is the sister-in-law of Mario Muñoz and Mark Muñoz and the daughter-in-law of Nancy Muñoz. In 2006 she worked as an associate producer alongside her husband on the talk show Good Morning Hawai'i, hosted by Branscombe Richmond.
