In 2365 she held the rank of captain and was the commanding officer of the USS Amber. (TNG: "The Measure Of A Man")
Fife was named for TNG studio teacher Marian Fife.
This character was never mentioned in dialog; her name came from a Starship Deploy Status chart seen on Starbase 173.
