Malon Prime was the inhabited prime planet in its star system, in the Delta Quadrant. This planet was the homeworld of the Malon species. It was said to be one of the most beautiful planets in the quadrant, despite the fact that Malon industry produced massive quantities of antimatter waste. This was made possible by waste export vessels, which transported the hazardous waste far from Malon home space. (VOY: "Juggernaut")

This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.

According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 79), Malon Prime was a Class M planet. The official name of the government was the Malon Sanctity. Dominant species on Malon Prime was the humanoid Malon. Malon Prime had warp capability since antiquity.

Decipher's Aliens sourcebook called the planet Malonis and described it as the second planet in the Neled system.
