Malcolm "Mel" Rennings is a microphone operator who worked in the sound department of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He received no credit for his work but is listed on several call sheets.
Rennings also worked as boom operator on the horror comedy Motel Hell (1980, with Craig Hundley), the comedy sequel Porky's II: The Next Day (1983, with Alan Bernard), and the comedy A Christmas Story (1983, with Alan Bernard and Ken Dufva).
