Madelaine was an employee at Plexicorp manufacturing plant in 1986.
Madelaine walked into Doctor Nichols' office during a discussion with "Professor" Scott regarding a proposal for making transparent aluminum. She was quickly shoo'ed out by Dr. Nichols. (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home)
Madelaine was played by hair stylist Monique DeSart who received no credit for this appearance.
