Lysosomal enzyme is the enzymes located in the lysosome and responsible for the digestion of large organic molecules in a cell. The enzymes that are contained in the lysosomes are so powerful that if they were released from their vacuole, the cell would be obliterated, digested from within. (VOY: "Tuvix")
