The Lysian Alliance was the governing body of the Lysian race, who in the 2360s were involved in a decades long war with the Satarrans.
In 2368, the USS Enterprise-D was tricked into the attacking the Lysian Alliance by the Satarrans. The Satarrans used their technology to erase certain memories in the Enterprise crew, and altered their computer memory so that it seemed the Federation were at war with the Alliance. The vessel entered the Lysian system, but Captain Jean-Luc Picard refused to continue once it became apparent that the Lysian weapons technology was clearly no match for them. (TNG: "Conundrum")
