Lupaza
Lupaza (played by Diane Salinger) was a member of the Shakaar Resistance Cell and as such fought the Cardassians during the Occupation of Bajor.
- Based on Dukat's remark in "Return to Grace" that Kira was the only female in the Shakaar resistance cell that Shakaar Edon didn't "charm", we may assume the Lupaza had a sexual relationship with Shakaar.
In 2355, Lupaza met young Kira Nerys, who wanted to join the resistance. Although the rest of the cell found Kira too young she felt that Kira had the heart of an sinoraptor and supported her. After Kira's first mission she made her a Bajoran earring out of the metal of a destroyed skimmer.
Lupaza was an expert in breaking into secured computer systems and was very close to Furel. (DS9: "Shakaar")
- Based on their interaction and that Furel said "We sleep out here" and "The couch is a little short but probably better than our bed". We and our suggest more than just being colleagues.
In 2373 she visited Kira on DS9 with Furel because someone was killing their former resistance comrades. While they sneaked aboard DS9 unnoticed by beaming into Chief O'Brien's bedroom their assailant knew where she was and planted an explosive device on the station's window by means of an hunter probe. When it exploded, the room decompressed and she was killed. (DS9: "The Darkness and the Light")
