Luisa Kim was a terraformer and biosphere designer assigned to the Federation's Terraform Command and self-described "Gardener of Edens."
During the early 2360s, Kim was one of four terraformers assigned to the Velara Base on Velara III during the Federation's attempt to transform the planet into a class M environment.
During a visit by the USS Enterprise-D in 2364, Kim took it upon herself to give the away team a tour of their facility, and through the phases of their mission.
Kim was later upset to learn that their attempt to create a new world was in fact destroying the habitat of an indigenous lifeform dubbed "microbrain", and of being excluded from the other team member's original findings. (TNG: "Home Soil")
Luisa Kim was played by actress Elizabeth Lindsey.
