The Lucasian Chair of Mathematics (also known as the Lucasian Professor) was the holder of a mathematical professorship at Cambridge University. Sir Isaac Newton was a holder of this chair, in the 17th century, and his house became the traditional residence for holders of this chair through to the late 24th century.

In an unknown, alternate future timeframe, Data held this position and was living in Newton's residence after his retirement from Starfleet. (TNG: "All Good Things...")

According to the script's pronunciation guide, this chair's name was pronounced as "loo-KAY-zhun". [1]
According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (3rd ed., p. 279), the chair "...has been held by such notable theorists as Isaac Newton, Paul Dirac, and Stephen Hawking."
In the novelization of All Good Things..., Torar Olaffok held the Lucasian Chair before Data in the anti-time future.
