The Loval system was a planetary system in Cardassian space. A planet in this system, Loval, was the site of a secret weapons research installation targeted by the Klingons during the Klingon-Cardassian War. (DS9: "Return to Grace")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 46, the Loval system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. The system's primary was a F-type star.
