Louise Simonson (neé Jones) is a comic book editor and writer born 26 September 1946. She worked for Marvel Comics from the start of 1980 through to 1990, when she moved to DC Comics. During her time at Marvel, she edited ten of the eighteen issues in their Star Trek run.

She has been married to comic book artist Walter Simonson since 1980. He produced the cover art for the second last issue in the series, "The Long Night's Dawn!".
