Louise Bale is an actress who appeared as the Peliar Zel Starfleet cadet in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "The First Duty" in 1992. She filmed her scenes on Monday 27 January 1992 on location at the Japanese Garden. Fellow background actress Cigi Britton later played this part during the scenes in the Academy hearing room. Bale's uniform from this episode was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay and the name tag also misspelled her name as Layise Bale. [1] [2]
