Lorinne Vozoff (born 18 September 1932; age 91) is the actress who played the part of Irene Hansen in the Star Trek: Voyager seventh season episode "Author, Author".

Career[]

Lorrine, in addition to her Voyager appearance, has also made appearances on such popular TV shows as Kojak, Cagney & Lacey, Matlock, L.A. Law, Party of Five, Murder One, and The Mentalist. She also guest starred on an episode of Quantum Leap with Star Trek: Enterprise's Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell.

Lorrine also has appeared in numerous made for TV films (which include Cast the First Stone (1989), Daughter of the Streets (1990), and Joshua's Heart (1990), and also three big-screen films: Shining Through (1992), Heart and Souls (1993) and Jack the Bear (1993). [1]

In addition to her acting work, Vozoff is also the Artistic Director of Theatre Group Studio, where she teaches, writes, performs, and directs productions.[2] In addition to her work with the studio, Vozoff has led an ongoing workshop for professional actors from which she founded Theatre Group Acting Company. Productions include an adaptation by Vozoff of Strindberg's Creditors, as well as Heritage, Rendezvous, Speak to Me, and Release, all written by Vozoff for her company and produced at Theatre Group Studio.
