Lieutenant Lopez was a security officer serving in Starfleet in 2373.

Lopez was present when the USS Enterprise-E chased a Borg sphere into the year 2063, and was part of Worf's security team sent to investigate a Borg presence on Deck 16. Worf instructed Lopez to take Doctor Beverly Crusher, Alyssa Ogawa and other evacuees from sickbay back to Deck 14. (Star Trek: First Contact)
