Lily Mariye (born 25 September 1956; age 67) is an actress hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, who played the Saratoga Ops Officer and her Ops Officer Alien counterpart in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine first season episode "Emissary". She is perhaps best known for her recurring role as Nurse Lily Jarvik on the television series ER. Mariye is married to jazz musician Boney James.

Mariye commented: "It was very exciting – I was a big Star Trek fan and still am – to get to wear a uniform, to get to explode on the bridge.” Mariye received fan mail even though her character was not named. [1] [2]
