Lewis was a crewman on the USS Voyager during the ships trek across the Delta Quadrant.
In 2373 Lewis was one of a number of officers who participated in Tom Paris's gambling operation out of the Chez Sandrine's holoprogram. Replicator rations were paid to play and whoever predicted what the radiogemic particle count would be at 1200 hours the following day would win the rations of everyone who played, minus a small handling fee for the bank, ie Paris. Lewis's name was called out when the numbers were generated. (VOY: "Meld")
