Actor Lawrence Montaigne (born 26 February 1931; age 93) portrayed one of the first Romulans on Star Trek, Decius, in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Balance of Terror". He later played a Vulcan named Stonn in TOS: "Amok Time".

Montaigne has also appeared on such television shows as Dr. Kildare, Batman, The F.B.I., The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Mission: Impossible, the latter of which, like the original Star Trek, was originally produced by Desilu.
