Laurence N. Wolfe wrote the story for the original Star Trek series episode "The Ultimate Computer" which was turned into a teleplay by D.C. Fontana. This is his sole writing credit. Wolfe was a mathematician, who wrote the original story out of his fascination with computers.[1]
