Laurence Harvey (1928-1973), born Laruschka Mischa Skikne, was a popular 20th century actor.

In 1960, he appeared in the movie The Alamo, which depicted the Battle of the Alamo, and where he played the role of William B. Travis.

When approached by Julian Bashir and Miles O'Brien about "The Alamo", Vic Fontaine recalled Laurence Harvey having a role in the film. (DS9: "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang")
