Laura Drake is the actress who portrayed the Klingon Vekma in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "A Matter Of Honor" in 1989.

Drake previously had featured parts in the crime thriller Cobra (1986, with Andrew Robinson, Marco Rodriguez, Roger Aaron Brown, Jim Wilkey, and fellow TNG guest star Brian Thompson) and in the musical romance Who's That Girl (1987, with Bibi Besch, Cecile Callan, Mike Starr, Faith Minton, Roy Brocksmith, Darwyn Carson, Cristian Letelier, and Lloyd Kino) and guest roles in episodes of Hill Street Blues (1987, with Megan Gallagher, Judith Jones, David Selburg, James Sikking, and Lawrence Tierney) and L.A. Law (1988, with Corbin Bernsen, Larry Drake, Rene Auberjonois, Gregg Henry, Miriam Flynn, Dana Sparks, and James Avery).

She also appeared in the television comedy An Eight Is Enough Wedding (1989, with John Hostetter, Christopher McDonald, and Eugene Roche), the Academy Award winning fantasy drama Ghost (1990, with Whoopi Goldberg, Vincent Schiavelli, and Stephen Root), the video game Starsiege (1999), and The Fugitive episode "DrRichardKimble.com" (2000, with Pete Turner).
