Ensign Latara was a Bajoran Militia officer stationed on Deep Space 9.
After her marriage to her husband in 2372, she asked the Emissary of the Prophets, Captain Benjamin Sisko, to bless their recent union. Vedek Porta brought the couple to Sisko's office for the blessing, which Sisko delivered in the Bajoran language, making her and her husband extremely happy and grateful. (DS9: "Accession")
Latara was played by Grace Zandarski. Her rank was mentioned in script only.
