In 2155, Cole was listed on the directory at the Fleet Operations Center on Earth. (ENT: "Demons")
In 2285, Rear Admiral Cole was listed on a directory placard as Supervisor of Curriculum on the 2nd level of Starfleet Training Command at Starfleet Academy. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
Cole was named after graphic designer and author Lee Cole. The placard featuring L. Cole was sold on It's A Wrap! sale and auction for US$31.99. [1]
