L.B. Kellogg is a comic book writer. He began in high school, publishing a fanzine called "First Flight" with Tom Mandrake, husband of comics artist Jan Duursema. After that, they wrote a story for the DC Comics New Talent Showcase together. Kellogg is credited with writing one issue of DC's first series, #17 "The D'Artagnan Three".

A character in the X-Men comics, a local sheriff, was named after him as a tribute.
