Ensign Kyoto was a female officer on board the USS Voyager, serving under Captain Kathryn Janeway in 2371.
Following a visit to sickbay, Kyoto accidentally deactivated Voyager's Doctor while he was preparing a culture to test Lieutenant Hargrove for Arethian flu. (VOY: "Eye of the Needle")
Kyoto's quarters on board Voyager were located on Deck 6. When the ship was affected by an inversion field in 2371, Kyoto's quarters suddenly were located on Deck 8 near Hargrove's, Nicoletti's and Ayala's quarters, which also normally were on other decks. (VOY: "Twisted")
In 2374, Kyoto received a letter from home that had been transmitted from the Alpha Quadrant over the Hirogen communications network, but she was not present when Neelix handed them out in the mess hall. (VOY: "Hunters")
