Kylata II was the second planet in the Kylata planetary system located in the Gamma Quadrant. This Class M planet was scanned by the USS Defiant in 2371 but the crew didn't have the time to beam down to the surface of the planet for a closer look. (DS9: "Meridian")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 75), the Kylata system was located in non-aligned space. This system was a trinary star system. Primary was a Class A star with a magnitude of +1, which was a hundred times brighter than Sol. Secondary was a class F star. Tertiary was a Class K star. This system was a destination on the Gamma Quadrant Bio-Survey (2369-75).
