The Krasner outpost was an outpost that was involved in some military conflicts involving the Federation before 2366.

One of Admiral Connaught Rossa's sons was killed in action at the outpost. Her other son, Connor, and Connor's wife, Moira, were killed by Talarian troops during the Galen border conflicts. (TNG: "Suddenly Human")
