Koralis III was the third planet of the Koralis system. It was the site of a mining colony and an orbital tether, but the operation had been abandoned by 2375. In that year, Kira Nerys told Laas to go to the planet, after she helped him escape Deep Space 9. Odo later met Laas on the planet. (DS9: "Chimera")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 47), the Koralis system was located in non-aligned space between the Cardassian Union and the Tzenkethi Coalition, in the Alpha Quadrant. This system was a single star system. Primary was a Class M star with a magnitude of +7, which was 1/10 as bright as Sol.
