Kevin Tighe is an actor who has had many film and television roles since he was born on 13 August 1944 in Los Angeles, California. Tighe is best known for his role on the 1970s TV series Emergency! as Roy De Soto.

He has starred in many films, including the 1989 cult film Road House, which starred VOY guest star Anthony De Longis, and also starred DS9 and VOY guest star Marshall R. Teague, DS9 guest star Tiny Ron and TNG and DS9 guest star Christopher Collins, also that year, he starred in the film K-9 (with William Sadler and Sherman Howard). His other films include Another 48 Hours (1990; with Ed O'Ross, David Anthony Marshall, Bernie Casey, Page Leong, Allan Graf, Biff Yeager, Rex Pierson, Benjamin Lum, Victor Brandt and Shauna O'Brien; music by James Horner; stunts by Patricia Tallman), What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), and The Big Day (1999, with Clayton Rohner, Mary Anne McGarry, and Tom Virtue. His first film appearance was in the classic movie The Graduate.

Tighe has made guest appearances on many TV shows; recently, he appeared as a recurring character on Lost, as the father of TNG guest star Terry O'Quinn's character.

In Star Trek, he played the role of Henry Janeway, ancestor of Captain Janeway, in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "11:59."
