Kent Allen Jones is a sculptor and makeup artist specialized in animatronics, puppets and special effects makeup who worked as sculptor on Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and for Bob Jean Productions on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Jones worked as sculptor on the fantasy adventure Big Trouble in Little China (1986), the crime movie The Big Easy (1986), the comic adaptation Masters of the Universe (1987, with Todd McIntosh, Gerald Quist, June Westmore, and Michael Westmore), the science fiction film Predator (1987, with Jeff Dawn and James R. Scribner), the action thriller Die Hard (1988, with Paul Abascal, Wes Dawn, Josée Normand, and Jim Kail), the fantasy comedy Beetle Juice (1988), the science fiction sequel Back to the Future Part II (1989, with Ellis Burman, Jr., Hazel Catmull, and Kenny Myers), the comedy Look Who's Talking (1989), the fantasy sequel Ghostbusters II (1989), the science fiction film The Abyss (1989), the drama Dances with Wolves (1990), the fantasy adventure Hook (1991), the comedy sequel Honey, I Blew Up the Kid (1992), the science fiction sequel Alien³ (1992), the fantasy comedy Death Becomes Her (1992), and the comic adaptation Batman Forever (1995).
