Ken Edling is an actor who appeared as a doctor in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. As a background actor he received no credit for his performance.

Before Edling started his career as an actor he served in the United States Air Force and worked as Sheriff's Sergeant in the Ventura County Sheriff Department.

Prior to his Star Trek appearance, Edling had featured and background parts in the drama Georgia Rule (2007), the drama The Human Contract (2008, with Joanna Cassidy, Anne Elizabeth Ramsay, and Titus Welliver), the thriller Eagle Eye (2008, with Bill Smitrovich, William Sadler, Deborah Strang, Bob Morrisey, J. Patrick McCormack, Manny Perry, Colby French, Peggy Roeder, Terryl Daluz, Christopher Jude, and Arne Starr), the fantasy comedy Bedtime Stories (2008, with Paul Dooley, Brian Waller, and Arne Starr), and Steven Spielberg's action sequel Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008, with Pavel Lychnikoff, Alan Dale, and Douglas Tait).

Further film work includes the television drama Ice Dreams (2009), the comedy Fired Up! (2009), the science fiction action film G.I.
