The Kelrabi system was a star system located within the Cardassian Union and the home of a Cardassian outpost. When Captain Benjamin Maxwell wanted to convince Starfleet of secret Cardassian preparations for a new war, he used his ship, the USS Phoenix to intercept a supply ship headed for this system. Though the ship was using a high energy subspace field to jam sensors, Captain Picard of the USS Enterprise-D refused to board the ship and arrested Maxwell. (TNG: "The Wounded")
