Kelly Connell (born 9 June 1956; age 67) is the actor who played Sklar in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Rise". Connell was also cast to portray the Vulcan Kov in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Fusion", but was unable to portray the role due to illness, so the role was recast with actor John Harrington Bland. ("Fusion" call sheet, Kelly Connell)

He is perhaps best known for his recurring (and later regular) role as Dr. Carter Pike on the CBS television series Picket Fences. He also starred as Ulysses S. Grant on the short-lived UPN sitcom The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer.

Connell has also made guest appearances on such shows as Night Court (starring John Larroquette and also working with Nikki Cox and Bruce French), Murphy Brown, Wings (starring Steven Weber), Party of Five (with Ellen Bry), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (with Armin Shimerman), cross-over episodes of David E. Kelley's The Practice and Ally McBeal (both with Daniel Dae Kim and Donna Murphy), and the science fiction hit Sliders. Additionally, he had recurring roles on Chicago Hope and CSI and was most recently seen as an attorney in two episodes of David E. Kelley's Boston Legal, starring William Shatner and Rene Auberjonois. Others he worked with on the latter program included Joanna Cassidy, Megan Gallagher, Ken Land, Jennifer S. Parsons, and Joel Polis.

He also had roles in a number of films, the first being 1988's Cocktail with Laurence Luckinbill. He has since had roles in Hot Shots! (1991) and its 1993 sequel, Hot Shots! Part Deux, as well as Thirteen Days (co-starring Len Cariou, Kevin Conway, Steven Culp, Charles Esten, Boris Lee Krutonog, Ed Lauter, Tim Kelleher, Dakin Matthews, and Bill Smitrovich) K-PAX (with William Lucking and Alfre Woodard), and Spider-Man 2 (starring Kirsten Dunst).
