Kate Vernon is an actress who played Commander Valerie Archer in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "In the Flesh".
She currently plays "Ellen Tigh" on the new Battlestar Galactica series, written and developed by former Star Trek writer Ronald D. Moore. She previously had recurring roles on the TV series Nash Bridges and L.A. Law.
