MacBeth on Planet Q

Macbeth, another in a series of living plays presented in space

The Karidian Company was a troupe of itinerant actors organized sometime after 2246. It was headlined by Anton Karidian, and included his daughter Lenore and several other actors.

The company performed plays on ships and at colonies and was sponsored by the Galactic Cultural Exchange Project. In 2266, during a performance on Planet Q, Thomas Leighton recognized that Karidian was actually Kodos, the governor who ordered the murder of 4,000 colonists on Tarsus IV in 2246. The company then went on to perform William Shakespeare's Hamlet aboard the USS Enterprise, during which Kodos ended up dead and Lenore was left hopelessly insane, having accidentally killed her father. (TOS: "The Conscience of the King")
