Kang's Summit was a area on Qo'noS that was known for its population of saber bear.
In 2371, while hunting saber bear on the Summit, Martok was captured by the Dominion. (DS9: "In Purgatory's Shadow")
It is likely that this location was named for Kang, one of the Klingon Empire's greatest warriors. Alternately, it could be named for legendary title character from the epic poem The Fall of Kang.
