Kali-fal

Kali-fal

Kali-fal was a very aromatic Romulan beverage, that was said to forcibly open one's sinuses well before the first sip.

In 2374, Captain Benjamin Sisko offered Senator Vreenak a glass of what was called a "fair approximation" of replicated kali-fal. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight")

Kali-fal may, in fact, be the Romulan (and "proper") name for Romulan ale.
