K.C. Amos is an actor, director, writer, and producer who appeared as an operations division officer in several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He received no credit for his appearances and was identified by the call sheets. According to these call sheets, Amos was also scheduled to appear in the fourth season episodes "Identity Crisis", "The Nth Degree", "Qpid", "The Drumhead", "Half a Life", and "In Theory" in corridor and Ten Forward scenes but was replaced or did not appear in the final episodes. He was also scheduled to work in Ten Forward in the fifth season episode "The Game" but did not appear.

Born as Kelly Christopher Amos, his father is veteran actor John Amos and his sister Shannon Amos is working as writer and producer.

In 1995 he wrote, produced and directed the short film Syphon Gun for which he won the Best of the Festival award at the Ann Arbor Film Festival and the Short Filmmaking Award - Honorable Mention at the Sundance Film Festival. In 1996 he received a Grammy Award nomination in the category Best Music Video - Long Form for "Where'd You Hide the Body". Amos also worked as assistant to the director on the science fiction film Demlition Man (1994) and one year later he earned his Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts School of Film and Video. Throughout the following years he worked as director on several music videos and documentaries. In 2004 he worked with his sister and his father on the independent film The Watermelon Heist.

Among his most recent projects as producer, writer, and director are the thriller Hauntsville (2007, with Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr.), the drama Tamales and Gumbo (2008, with Tommy "Tiny" Lister, Jr.), and the drama Strawberries for the Homeless (2009). Since 1995 he is working for his production company Colored Wind Films.
