Jules Holdren is a hair stylist and makeup artist. He was Zachary Quinto's hair stylist on 2009's Star Trek. [1] This was his first experience on a major feature film.

In addition to Quinto, Holdren has worked with such Star Trek alumni as Catherine Hicks and Iman. Other talent he has worked with include Cate Blanchett, Zach Braff, Danny Glover, Green Day, Michael Jordan, John Mellencamp, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Holdren's work can be seen in print advertisements for such companies as Altoids, Budweisder, McDonald's, Nike, Old Spice, Sears, and Sony, and in editorials of such publications as Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, Newsweek, People, Playboy, Rolling Stone, and Vanity Fair. He has also worked on television commercials for clients such as AFLAC Insurance, Burger King, Cadillac, Coca-Cola, Disney, E-Harmony, Fruit of the Loom, IBM, JC Penny's, Kellogg's, McDonald's, Michelob, Sears, Sony Playstation, Sprint, Toyota, and Wal-Mart.

Holdren did hair and makeup for R. Kelly's music video "Angel." She also worked with the Dixie Chicks on their video, "Goodbye Earl." In addition, he was an assistant hair stylist on the acclaimed television series Jericho for CBS Paramount Network Television. He also held that same position on the hit ABC series Chuck, which stars Tony Todd.
