Real World article
(written from a Production point of view)

Judi Brown was the script supervisor for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine for six of the show's seven seasons. She was also script supervisor on Star Trek Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, and Star Trek: Insurrection. Later, she and Jan Rudolph alternated as script supervisor for the third and fourth seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise.

Prior to her work on Star Trek, Brown was a script supervisor for projects such as the 1982 film Tex (starring Jim Metzler), the 1984 TV movie The Cowboy and the Ballerina (starring Antoinette Bower and Christopher Lloyd), and the TV shows Moonlighting and Alien Nation (the latter series starred Gary Graham, Eric Pierpoint, and Michele Scarabelli). More recently, she worked with director Jonathan Frakes not only on two Star Trek films but on the series Roswell and the 2002 motion picture Clockstoppers, as well. She was also script supervisor for the cult 2004 puppet comedy Team America: World Police. Most recently, she worked on J.J. Abrams' short-lived sitcom, What About Brian.

As a member of DS9's production staff, Brown's name is listed on the dedication plaques for the USS Defiant and the USS São Paulo, although it is spelled as Judy Brown. Her name was also listed on the dedication plaques for the USS Enterprise-E and the USS Valiant as Judi Brown.

Credits

Brown served as script supervisor for all seasons of DS9 except for season six. Stuart Lippman was the script supervisor for that season.
