Lieutenant Francisca Juarez was a Starfleet officer serving aboard the USS Enterprise-D. Her husband, Alfredo Juarez was also aboard the ship.

Juarez became pregnant sometime prior to 2367. She entered labor at 0400 hours on stardate 44390.1. She gave birth to a child at the same time the Enterprise-D confronted the Romulan warbird IRW Devoras and shortly before the wedding of Miles O'Brien and Keiko Ishikawa. Captain Jean-Luc Picard visited the Juarez child in the ship's nursery and personally welcomed him aboard. (TNG: "Data's Day")
