José Dominguez was the space commander of the starship base on Corinth IV in 2266.
In that year, Dominguez arranged to receive a shipment of prime Mexican red chili peppers from James Kirk, captain of the USS Enterprise. When the Enterprise was delayed at planet M-113, Dominguez contacted the ship, to remind Kirk of the "supplies" which he "urgently needed." (TOS: "The Man Trap")
