Template:Realworld Jonathan Peterson is a comic book artist, writer, and editor who began in the industry in the mid-1980s and left the industry mid-2002. He began his career with DC Comics, working his way onto the editorial staff by 1990. In August 1992, he left DC and joined Image Comics on their editorial staff. After several years with Image, he began to split his time between WildStorm and Image Comics, writing and continuing to edit.

Some titles he worked on include DV8, Gen 13, Teen Titans, Deathstroke: The Terminator, and Hawk and Dove. While at DC, he was tapped as the artist for two characters in "Who's Who in Star Trek 1", Philip Boyce (with Greg Theakston) and John Farrell (with Dick Giordano) and Mark Piper in "Who's Who in Star Trek 2" (with Romeo Tanghal).
