Jon Povill was a late 23rd century Human doctor who acted as assistant investigator to the primary investigator, Dr. Susan Nuress, on the planet Oby VI in the mid-2290s. As a part of the medical research team, Dr. Povill aided in isolating a cure for the plasma plague on the planet. (TNG: "The Child")
