Template:Realworld John McLiam (24 January 1918 – 16 April 1994; age 76) was an actor who played Fento in the third season episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation entitled "Who Watches The Watchers".
McLiam was born in Alberta, Canada.
McLiam appeared in a number of films and television series, including Dempsey (1983, with Sally Kellerman, Peter Mark Richman, Robert Harper, Estee Chandler, Mark L. Taylor and stuntman Jimmy Nickerson) and Walk Like a Man (1987, with Christopher Lloyd, Earl Boen, Megan Parlen and Ellen Albertini Dow)
He died of Parkinson's disease in 1994.
